| dc.description | "En este trabajo se analizan los avances en materia de cambio tecnológico logrados por un conjunto de países de América Latina y el Caribe, caracterizados por la expansión del comercio internacional y la atracción de inversión extranjera directa (IED) en los últimos 20 años. Se procuró cubrir tanto los aspectos teóricos como los aplicados, revisando antecedentes bibliográficos junto con la recopilación de información estadística para construir indicadores específicos. En el aspecto teórico, el acento se puso en la identificación y el examen de antecedentes analíticos y conceptuales relevantes para el estudio de las capacidades tecnológicas en los países en desarrollo. La parte aplicada consistió en la recopilación de información y datos estadísticos disponibles, con los cuales se han construido y analizado un conjunto de indicadores que combinan distintas aproximaciones posibles, a fin de ampliar las posibilidades de captura de las especificidades de los países estudiados y de evaluar su evolución en las dos últimas décadas." | es_CO |
